ZUNO BANK AG is the latest greenfield investment of Raiffeisen International Bank- Holding AG, a leading banking group in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).At the end of 2009, Raiffeisen International announced its intention to enter the CEE markets with a new direct banking model. The group plans to launch ZUNO across the CEE region, starting with a roll-out in Slovakia that is expected by the end of 2010.The bank will be aimed specifically at technologically-skilled people who prefer to use the internet as the primary communication channel with their bank. The target group consists mainly of educated young persons who live in urban areas and usually prefer not to visit bank branches. They are modern thinkers who are living active lives and are able and willing to save money.While ZUNO BANK will initially focus on attracting new clients by offering deposit products, ZUNO intends to continuously develop its product portfolio to reflect customers' needs.In developing a new banking brand from scratch, ZUNO represents a unique case in the CEE banking sector within the past few years. Cooperation with the professionals of the world-renowned British branding agency The Brand Union resulted in creation of the bank´s name whose visual identity will be revealed later this year at the launch of the bank´s operations in Slovakia. We are looking for Product Manager, who will be responsible for the development and management of products prepared by third parties and sold by ZUNO branches in CEE. In cooperation with third parties responsible to create competitive and profitable products, e.g. mortgages, mutual funds, insurance products, brokerage.Tasks and Responsibilities• Analyzes competition, market trends and legal requirements related to dedicated products• Deeply understands customer behavior and preferences. Works very closely with marketing and research to identify decision making factors of target customers• Designs profitable and competitive products in co-operation with selected partner companies • Designs fast and efficient processes to ensure first class sales and servicing of the products, end-to-end owner of processes • Prepares detailed functional specification for products, related processes, and reporting for the involved IT systems• In cooperation with legal department delivers all necessary legal documents (contracts, forms, terms & conditions…)• In cooperation with marketing ensures preparation of appealing product communication (web content, online banking content, campaigns…)• Monitors competition and market trends, constantly looks for new ideas. Enhances existing and implements new products and features that satisfy and exceed customer needs. Searches and reapplies industry best practices and cutting edge innovation.• Coordinates development with local product managers to ensure compliance with regulations and internal directives• Manages the products portfolio profitability and growth by defining and executing strategies that produce the desired growth in revenues and profits as well as customers and/or accounts. Actively manages costs related to the products processes • Ensures maximum synergies between the countries, manages deviations from standard features and processes. Balances cost effectiveness and scale benefits with local competitiveness
Cerinte
• Bachelors Degree is required preferably in Business or Economics• Minimum 3-5 years work experience in financial industry• Experience in product management working on insurance or mutual funds products for at least 2 years • Strong analytical skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Experience in writing and delivering fact-based presentations and recommendations to senior management• Experience in preparation of Functional specifications for IT companies• Excellent command of English language• Strong Microsoft Office skillsIf you are interested in contributing to the development of our banking activity, we look forward to receiving your application via email career@ridb.at
