Analyses the current accounting and closing processes ‘front-to-end’, including the relevant processes in the operational and commercial departments; Proposes process improvements to CFO and Chief Accountant; improvements can be in terms of saving time, improving controls and data quality, simplifying reconciliations etc.Implements improvements in coordination with accounting department and (where relevant) operational, commercial & IT department.Key responsibilities as Chief AccountantDirects and coordinates the accounting activity to ensure that all the company’s records reflect the business transactions in an accurate manner, according to the (RAS) and (IFRS);Monitors accounting compliance with internal and external rules and regulations; Responsible for tax optimization through decreasing non deductible expenditures;Manages the relationship with Romanian Tax Authorities and auditors;Completes the bills payable book; monthly tax calculation; tax profit declaration, trial balance sheets under both RAS and IFRS;Makes the Balance Sheet and the Profit and Loss Account;Prepares the statutory monthly statements to the state authorities;Keeps the relations with bank, suppliers, executes all payment transactions;Manages the activity of the accounting department, identifies the possibilities of activity improvements and personnel development;
Cerinte
Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial role, preferably within the financial services industry, of which 3 year in a managerial role;IFRS knowledgeACCA/CFA strong plus; Fluency in English;Strong communication and interpersonal skills;Takes initiative and is solution driven;Strong analytical and structuring skills;Detail-oriented.
