Project descriptionFinancial application operating on US bond trading market that aims to be a reliable source of data for traders. The solution provides real time bond analytics based on trading offer collected from various sources. Endava currently maintains and improves the solution by adding new offerings, new bond analytics and better performance.Client wishes to transfer some of the data analyze work and bond modeling knowledge into the Cluj based team. Job description• Analyze various sources of bond data and support the development team in order to include them as new offerings into the application; • Organize and lead a team of bond analysts;• Maintain and improve current data gathering and data quality procedures;• Maintain relations with all data providers and support in attracting new ones;• Study various materials about bond trading and bond analysis in order better understand; • Writing functional specifications for development team.

Requirements Mandatory skills: • Experience in data analysis, able to recognize patterns and define business rules;• Experience working in software development projects;• Good experience in using SQL scripts and Excel for analyzing data;• Experience in analyzing requirements and writing functional specifications/use cases using MS Word and Visio; • Knowledge of financial assets main characteristics (equities, MBS, CD’s, shares, etc);• Very good communication skills both oral and written;• Very good analytical and synthesis skills, organized mind and attention to detail;• Experience in working directly with customers and development teams; • Very good knowledge of English language. Desirable skills: • Very good knowledge of .Net or Java platform;• Knowledge of how financial asset trading is performed (especially bond trading);• Knowledge of financial terms used in bond trading; • Experience in bond modeling and various analytics used in the financial market.
