BRAINSPOTTING is a Human Resources Consulting company specialized in the Recruitment of professionals in the area of Information Technology and Communications (IT&C).We are servicing our corporate clients by searching, attracting, selecting and presenting the most suitable IT&C specialists in order to complete their teams, as well as consulting them with regard to their present and potential human resources needs.On behalf of our client, ING Insurance Central Europe - the Shared Service Center in Cluj, we are looking for a talented and motivated professional to fill the role of Head of Application Development and Maintenance.The Shared Service Centre will be responsible for functions of finance, operations and IT departments and will include all ING Insurance Central Europe countries (e.g. Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania). The reason for building a Shared Service Centre is to improve customers service and value for money by simplifying, standardising and, to certain extent, centralizing ING ICE service activities, and moreover running these activities like a business by delivering services to internal customers at a cost, quality and timelines that are competitive with alternatives.

- Manage Application Development and Delivery for the countries in the region- Manage demand and supply, including managing vendors - Support strategic decision making on items like outsourcing - Building the new application development and maintenance organisation Some of the projects you will be working on include: - implementing new state of the art tools and methodogies for ING Insurance in the region. - Building the new centralized organisation for the region.
Cerinte
- Education level: Master of Science (MSc).- + 5 years relevant experience in Applications Management (exposure to Insurance or other financial services would be a plus)- Experienced in IT consultancy or shared service organisations- Experienced in diverse business environments, with different technologies and types of clients- Able to negotiate with internal and external vendors- Fluent in English- Available for extensive travel in Romania and abroad.
